Out Thursday Window

Out Thursday Window

the clouds wander

aimlessly brushing

the hills bumping the mountains

dropping frozen dust into

resolute streams persuading

intercontinental drift

licking ages of stone

surrendering gold and rainbow

trout

fingerlings of trees

break the cold gray

reach

relentless for sun and breeze

hawks scour the grounds

feasting

meals on reels

lifted upon updrafts

with little sound as the

the clacking black ravens

heckle…

its all too serious
